As said on the website, it’s been a moment we were thinking about it.
The definition of petite&jolie is clearly in the title, we want to set a cosy place for cute music.

We’ve been taking our time to contact artists we appreciated to be sure to deliver some lovely tunes that would definitly give the artistic line of this netlabel.

So here we are with our first release named “Pantoufle Tagada”, a nice launching compilation for the sake of cuteness

The cuteness will transport you on a pony ride from Purusha’s (Ogredung) progtoytronica to papercutz’s (Apegenine) childtronica, from Doroasako’s progressive folktronica to El zoológico’s pizzicato , passing by Original Recipe’s (Vinyl Republik) fresh pianopop to kaneel’s (Camomille, Ogredung) “joie de vivre” glitchtronics, vim’s (Monotonik) spring melodies to fah’s (Ronin) analog cute-acid without forgetting surasshu’s (Apegenine, Camomille) electro music with video game gimmicks while balùn people (Aerotone) are coming up with their cutey electropop and dot tape dot (spar.RK, NatureBliss) rejoins with his toy harp and trumpet experiments. In the meantime, makunouchi bento (Camomille, Ogredung, One) will delight your ears during a sweet and tender music box interlude for your christmas parties while Nej will come up with some sweet electropop and treacle (BEE Records) will bring back the groove to some cutetronica.

this compilation will act like the exact time-travel machine you needed to bring you back some childhood reminiscences, so we hope you’ll enjoy this 55 minutes long launching compilation as much as we enjoyed setting this all up.

purusha had some unreleased/unfinished tracks and as they weren’t that bad at all he decided to fix’em and pack’em in a unique ep, helped by some other dudes (hexa, adapt, dhemofoonte).
the result is this 40 mins album made of colours, from a minimalistic sinewavish yellow to a truly white weirdness passing through heavy moments of xperimentalism. each colour hides of course a symbolic meaning and its own drawin technique on different frames..
overall a smooth, sweety work to live in his full hue. candid, but opaque sometimes.. well just go and taste our painting skills guys! :))

basing on an original module by the japanese tracker nik, purusha tries to extirpate what he mostly likes and re-track it according to his own mind.
so that he seems trying to pronounce that letter (‘f’, that is) with his own pitch, his own volume, his own musical apparatus.
the result is a dnb-ish track, to loop, quite faithful to the original, and quite different to be what people call a remix, even if it is mostly like a review.

melting hexa’s usual intelligent, minimal melodies with the virtuoso’s weird bbeats and kickies, make this release something you cannot lose.
originally meant for the upcoming iro EP by purusha, these guys finally decided to release it as a single piece of tactical electronica, and we can’t help but be happy for this. =)
we love this sorta alliance, do you?

well now here it is.
the track itself is well-composed, and if you’re there and ask me what’s the style then i tell you reverse chiphouse (???).
a short piece of music, but we can clearly feel the age of it, that is, a lil’bit old, indeed. 😦

before leaving for the 1-month-long holidays, purusha says hello to us with this visuddhi.
according to the indian traditions and symbolism, visuddhi is the 5th chakra (energy point placed along the human body), the throat; it means, in the human being, creativity and self-expression.
and, according to this, the boy tracks down a ceramics melodic bstates-like piece, with an onnipresent tempo hihat binding us to the reality, thus not allowing our minds to be taken away by casual harshing beats and the final hard and deep bdrums fading out.
indeed, a short track. but we really want to know where are our boundaries, and how open is our throat, don’t we?
and oh please, use the headphones!

two days and here is the virtuoso again!
something like the sad squirrel, this little flower (kkot in korean), but much more synthpoppish, if you know what i mean.
based on an old chiptune by radix/tpolm, purusha puts down a deep nuchip fall-in-love song, maybe a little bit commercial but that’s it when you make such an use of the frequencies.
definitely to be listened to. every day.
