I think the word is ‘magisterial’. Or thereabouts. Fat beats, hype scratches, dark synth licks, and an excuse to blow your eardrums. Which it’s never a bad idea to turn down. Or, as the Gravediggas so eloquently put it – “bang your muthaf***ing head’. 😉 heh. 😉 In any case, sometimes no words correctly describe a tune, and this one speaks for itself. Enough.

[please note, MOD4WIN mangles the playing of this track somewhat – try to replay it in MikIt or FastTracker.. or something that plays it right, heh!]

and another release for today. and i must say, it’s EXCELLENT. as are lokes tracks always. he’s remixed the past voodoo release ‘mayfield’ originally composed by tweeter, and i must say that this remix sounds better as remixes usually are, no offence tweeter 🙂 loke has got the touch as ive many times said. this track is fabulous and the beats, ahh… just listen to it and feel the atmosphere by yourself. you won’t stop listening to this 🙂 and oh yeah forgot to mention that 32mA is loke’s live project and if you are into electronics, you know what it means.

those people on the mailinglist who wants to receive their voodoo’s as ZIP instead of LHA should mail me immediately, tell their names and that they’d prefer ZIP for LHA, and i’ll fix it too. archives in aminet will be LHA’s.

ah! here comes some massive multichannelism from tweeter again. tweeter has made a track with kraftwerkish main melody, but i must admit that it fits in and does the job fine. the beats are typical tweeter electronica allthough, them sound a bit like the ones he had in ‘melancholy’ but since the track goes on so atmospherically and sounds fabulous i decided to release it, and you bet he’s worked on it as i got a preview already many weeks ago 🙂 and what comes to the beat matter, who gives a shit about it since 4×4 beat has been already used millions of times techno as amen beat in drum&bass (=

After Mono was awfully disappointed to have missed Distance’s last EP (released on Tokyo Dawn Records), this time round we caught the wave, and we’re proud to present a brand-new set of tracks from him. There’s little doubt that he’s one of the major talents tracking techno on the music scene right now, and his songs remain constantly unpredictable, stark, suave, and ass-kicking by equal measures. Keep it up, mon. A couple of these tracks even fit on Mono very well (especially “Only My Home”), but we thought it better to keep them as a whole on Monotonik. 🙂
