Mm, the beautifully serene chords mixed with just the dreamiest acoustic break put this somewhere around the most ethereal end of Global Communication, with further nods to Pete Namlook and Dr.Motte on a less electronic tip. As Mixmaster Morris might ask, is it tomorrow already?

hi my fellow music artists and voodoo fanatics. life is a strange thing isn’t it? sometimes when everything goes bad, it follows with even worse period. that’s what happened to me some time ago. i was almost in the end of the tunnel when i finally and suddenly got dragged into a place where i’m now working. after about 3 years of unemployment i have achieved a job and as i moved from the evergrowing depression (a reason why this group died more or less) to a busy worker’s life i did realise that i’m not able to keep any schedule on releasing material. so this is a sort of closing letter my fellow sceners. i’m trying to follow what’s happening but i’ve got way too much to do with my other groups and being updated of things that i’m not capable to run this group amongst my other duties. therefore i hope everything good in your lives and i hope this 1,5 years that voodoo existed will stay in your mind as a nice period with lots of quality music

Something distinctly different, this mp3 release is from the English artist 3818919/w, of which little can be revealed – other than the fact he works in computer games as a graphics artist and is also responsible for the rather cool mp3-cover to this release, which you can see above.

This track was done with a cacophony of cantankerous old analogue synths and drum machines and is distinctly influenced by a number of Warp and Rephlex artists. But we like to think the beguiling melodies and intriguing percussion bring a markedly different approach to the whole idm conundrum – if, indeed, it should be called idm. Listen to the fluttering synths and the layers upon layers and the little flourishes and enjoy..

Watch out for a simultaneous/near-simultaneous Malik remix of “Stylez” on Theralite (http://pigforce.warande.net/theralite), incidentally.. mmm, synchronicity can be so constructive, hm?
