They handed me a floppy disc which they said was from ‘their friends’ in No’Mo’. And so I’m forced to publish No’Mo’ release #10, ‘Rinkidinki’ (297k), a remix of the classic Nuke/Lemon. amigademo track, “Rink-A-Dink” (original also included in the ZIP.) They may force me to put more No’Mo’ stuff up here soon. I fear for my safety. Please help, dear readers?

For some reason we seem to have managed to make the description of this release sound somewhat like a crossword clue – oh well, no matter. Originally an entry into gc27, this is the 16-bit version of a truly beautiful track by Finnish idm maverick Distance. We should probably point out that it adheres to the Aphex Twin’s anagram methods of tune naming, too – clever boy, clever boy. In any case, listen, sway, hum happily, and appreciate.

This one has been waiting in the wings for a very long time – apologies to Prob and Ebb for delaying it. But finally a release for the superlative “Stylez EP” by one of mono211’s foremost Finns and his studio partner, Ebb. There’s actually very little that can be said about this apart from the fact that damn, it’s a classy hiphopjam, and the bonustrack is original and smartstyled too. Oh, please note that real scratching and real sativa extract was used in the making of this track, and readers – don’t try it at home, bwoooyeee 😉 Honey, I got rhythm!

the first release in a long time from monotonik, mono211’s techno sublabel, and it’s the first ever monotonik mp3 too. All the way from Alaska, Jiva provides us with some truly serene idm in the style of the similarly remote but moving Boards Of Canada or Biosphere. Beautiful home listening for everyone, and well worth the download. And we know our French is schoolboy at best, but the title is definitely something about strolling across the seabed, isn’t it?
