Yooh. Directly from the cellophane realms, our french dude Tao (aka Soy) presents to the ogre his mellow side, as already did with the great El Sur (part of the Grand Hotel EP). And we catch it at the first bounce, yessir.
The EP is fournished with little cute creatures, hybrid of IDM flavours and full honey sounds, also interlacing with old fashioned fairy notes and upbreaking introducing beats. Sorta made on-the-fly, under the direct inspiration of the environment outside his room window, Tao looks at the world with desire and with the ‘vague’ idea of what men lose by only looking inside themselves.
Worldly sounds, maybe. The dissoluting power of doubt, in music.

Giulio Li back with his brand new 3-tracks EP.. sorting out to be always developing his techs and mind, and presenting more and more persuading music for us, as already happened with the great Tao and his Subtle series.
Noise-driven electro-hurry-up basslines make us play with the ideal hi-speed racing game we’re been waiting for. Frantic b-beats of high quality collide with blue carillons in the following tracks and 180bpm dark/noisestep/drill’n’bass gets the upper hand on the hinted cheeky melodies of ‘MbROMO’s happy fingers.
Yes much surprising. 😉

Fancying this natural grace and nodding while smiling is something we can’t really help doing.
Repetitive, but celestial notes wear a tough hi-freq base interlacing with trembles and reverse hits and sweet caressable -yet hidden- movements, which we can only guess the existence of.
Very animesque and enjoyable this one, will be difficult to listen to this less than 5 times a day my friends.
For those of you who are a bit fed up of evil and dark moods.. superb. 🙂

More electroxperimentalism from our fav dynamic duo; Wakax and Qewza take and wear their gusoku for some truly evil occasion.
Nipponic voices straight from inferno and totally crazy beats attack our mind and go directly into the brain; a continuous assault to our senses, which definitely explodes after 3mins of cyber intro.
A demon is being driven out from one of the numerous, countless hells underground, and with his beautiful smile makes us participants of his sumptuous feast; but, we can never leave.
A bakuhatsu of killa energy erupts, and we’re completely lost between quakes and blue flames. An undead samurai thrills and paws and calls the name.

Oo some pure groovy mellowness at last, and right skilled as we like!
Crazy but well-constructed and constant beats interlace with a lullabye-ish carillon melody, all accompanied by a superb -again- groovy bassline and tempo hihats.
Hmm yea naive would be the right word but hey the real description comes with the song itself innit?
The whole track is really _full_ of itself, genuine and a bit ingenuous; “ignorance is bliss” says our guest and we nod with assent. :))

Our new head brings his first EP together with new moods in the ogre’s house.
The first track, right in your face, much drill’n’bass yeah, a bit dreamy, and the bass is played live. It presents a happy collection of music, even though the following ones are much more ‘blue’ than it. The whole work is a made with technique, nothing is casual, and thank god, this is something whistleable at last!
Nothing to do with obviousity though, we can advert some airs a la Tao in some pieces, and this should be pretty enough for you to make this release worth than a download! 😛

Minez from Japan makes us feel really proud of being an electro-netlabel, by releasing this little piece of art of undistinguishable beauty; sweet, smiley melodies flying in an anime scene accompanied by crazy beats+snares, and hi-freq hihats and tempo-tickers make all the landscape toss and twirl in a fairy azure sky. Childish chords against mature retrigs make this track sweeter to caresse -and we caresse it without asking. :))

Finally, we can taste some fresh UK xperimentalism, as if the three tracks were made by converting directly simple images to music.
The intro track, a bit uneasy indeed, bubbling and hissing in panbrello, with uncomfortable melodies and repeating beats all over the way; which grandly takes us to glassy orchestras made of crystaline streams of sinewaves, flowin and leaping in green cyber-meadows.
The artist’s uneasiness is then highlighted by a final wall of silk, all around our head, safer beats + reverse blows + metallic candles in deep hallways, unique ingredients for a unique dish of dividers.
