The human consciousness

Our mind is a powerful tool, wield it well. On the other hand, it can break up in a second. While recovery can last a lifetime, the experience itself has potential to make you more in tune with the universe.

Mental healing is not about fixing broken things to resemble their precursory form. I like to think it’s more about adapting and enhancing. Every day I see people who are obviously stuck in their views of themselves. It’s a state of mental decay that will kill you, slowly and without a warning.

..and the Finnish arctic expedition continues

We’re currently witnessing the last breaths of winter season 2011; and it has been a rewarding ride. Adjective snowy would be an understatement notably, in Helsinki. The monstrous white death striked fear and despair in weak hearts of southern finns, while northerners enjoyed temperatures declining under -40 ℃.

Today’s release makes no difference to the theme. Originally presented as a video installation at Ars Arctic 2003 – Rovaniemi, Marraskesi (stratum corneum) has some bone chilling qualities in it.

Once upon a time in Rovaniemi, Finland

Welcome! This is Maito Records, presenting you our first release:

Far away from the Civilization – beyond the polar circle, two audioalcoholic guys and a one peculiar girl are fiddling about with an electric guitar, electric shaver and a microphone.

It’s a living aural painting with streching horizon, morphing landscape and menacing aurora borealis. Kill the lights and surrender to these drone sculpting, homo sapien eating neantherdals.
