Title: Automation

Catalog #: CANDY011
Release Date: 2005/09/09
Candy Mind is back from the stack with a nice new release from Japanese chip-techno star “Penny and ashtray”, who’s telling us, for example, which way that is the way up.
Minimalistic and naive, “Automation” is feeling like a fresh wind from the other side of the ocean (or many oceans perhaps), giving us a dancing experience we’ll never forget.
Ranging from electroish “This way up” to retro “Don’t push”, “Penny And Ashtray” is making us smile, always singing with his unmistakeble electro-voice.
1. THIS WAY UP
There are many ways heading all directions all the time. Penny (and the ashtray) is exploring the way up this time. He’s expecting to find heaven, but is just finding a lot of strange animals and a cart of plastic.
2. GETTING HIGH
Penny and his ashtray is playing a 2 player rave party Nintendo-game. You get 500 points for every dance move you make except if it’s really cool; then you’ll get 1000 points. There is also a lot of drugs flying around the place, and you don’t know if you should avoid them or not. Are they enemies or friend? It’s a strange game. But fun.
3. DON’T PUSH
In a small laboratory in Japan, there is a lot of strange controls and machines. The machines were originally made as toys for the professors, but nowadays there is only one simple rule: Don’t push!
4. AUTOMATION
Automation? Yes, indeed! We all need it.
