About
Adapter
connects the world of the video and animation with the world of established Netlabels, such as Textone (www.textone.org) or Thinner (www.thinnerism.com). The Adapter Netlabel primarily focuses on electronic music and short-/experimental films which will be available as free downloads.
The Adapter team sets itself apart from the others by placing their emphasis on the importance of binding music, film and animation under one roof providing a high quality output through the Netlabel. It is essential for us to construct a platform where it is possible to ‘adapt’ the different art-scenes and offer the result to the public on a non commercial basis
(Sascha Frohn, one of the Adapter Netlabel heads).
Adapter’s music covers a wide spectrum from Minimal-, Dubtechno and Easy listening. The movie sector is composed of a vast compilation of experimental movies, short cuts/films and video collages. Using the resources of our multimedia partners, we decided to produce and release flash animations. There are no limits or rules to what we can do. If we like it and it meets our standards, we will release it.
To prevent any copyright abuse, all releases fall under the creative commons license. This guarantees the free download of all our material. The copyright belongs to the artist and can only be distributed with his/her consent. For more details check out http://creativecommons.org/
